Black Steel Post - 33" Arm with pegs & base (Black Steel Posts)

• Easy-to-install, 2-piece post and base.

• 33" horizontal arm accommodates 30" and 32" wide signs.

• Pegs on top of the arm accommodate a 30" top rider.

• Includes 2 metal loops to hang sign from.  Attach sign to loops with either a C-clip or Cable ties.

• Made from 1-1/4" square black metal tubing and powder coated for durability, This post and base are easy to install with a sledge hammer in most conditions. Use a pry bar to properly remove without bending the base.

• Overall dimension after installation is 33" x 60" .

For proper installation, use a sledgehammer to strike the triangular plate until the top of it is at ground level. Do not strike the top of the base. 

For removing post bases (especially in winter): 

1. Take a heavy sledgehammer (6 lb or more) and strike the triangular portion of the base while it’s in the ground. This will help to loosen the angle iron from the soil.
2. Take a 4” x 4” block of wood and a pry bar and use the tip of the pry bar to get under the corner of the triangular plate. Slowly pry up on the base, working from one side and then the other (you may need to dig a little soil out to get the pry bar under the corners of the plate.
3. Add an additional block of wood to provide more leverage as the base starts to come out of the ground.
4. Do not push/pull the base from side to side while it is in the ground or coming out. This will bend or break the angle iron.
